Q: How to install Openoffice.org in CentOS/Fedora/Redhat?
This post will help you to install the latest Openoffice in CentOS, Fedora and Redhat Linux. All the below commands will install the openoffice tool from yum repository.
Enable yum via proxy if your PC is not connected to internet directly and using a proxy server for internet connectivity.
Login as root and run the command
Install Openoffice Calc application from yum
[root@server ~#]yum -y install openoffice.org-calc
Install Openoffice Impress application from yum
[root@server ~#]yum -y install openoffice.org-impress
Install Openoffice Writer application from yum
[root@server ~#]yum -y install openoffice.org-writer
Install Openoffice Math application from yum
[root@server ~#]yum -y install openoffice.org-math
Install Openoffice Draw application from yum
[root@server ~#]yum -y install openoffice.org-draw
Install Openoffice Base application from yum
[root@server ~#]yum -y install openoffice.org-base
