          Google introduced their new Android version 4.1 "Jelly Bean". Its some polished version of ICS (Icecream sandwich). Jelly Bean comes with many more features in User experience, and its overall performance. Android Versions Release History

            Google Inc introduced their first Android version "Android beta" in 5th November 2007. First alpha release is Android 1.0 Astro in 2008. and they has been updating and releasing a series of New versions. And the latest is Jelly Bean which released in June this year (2012). All the Releases versions has a unique names in the alphabetical order Astro, Bender, Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Cream Sandwich and now finally Jelly Bean.

Galaxy Nexus Banned in US

The California district court banned the sale of Samsung's Galaxy Nexus smartphone in United States. Apple suits against Samsung about patent violations. Apple says Samsung used some patent claimed technologies in Galaxy Nexus device. The same court banned the sale of Galaxy Tab 10.1 in United States couple of days before. Apple has been suing all the Android smartphone manufactures including Samsung, HTC, etc to limit the growth of Android Operating system. 


The court ordered Apple to bond $95m to cover loss to Samsung if in the future injunction be deemed wrong.

Android Kandy Kane: Next Version After Jelly Bean

                    Google announced their next Android version after just arrived release Jelly Bean. The new Version name will be "Kandy Kane", of course as we expected Google following the alphabetical order in naming of Android versions.
 And we know well the up-coming will start with "K". (see Android versions history). The last released version Jelly bean is just released and currently running on Google Nexus smart phone and Nexus 7 tablet. But Google not yet announced the version code of upcoming Kandy Kane version.

Google's Public DNS Servers

If your Internet Service Provider's Name server not working properly, frequent doun or may feel bit slower in name resolving, use Google's public DNS servers for faster name resolving.

Google has different name servers for both IPv4 and IPv6 protocols. 

By using Google DNS server you can bypass some restrictions (if applied) in your ISP's name server. So you can access the complete web domains.  

The Google Public DNS IP addresses (IPv4) 

8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4

The Google Public DNS  addresses (IPv6)

2001:4860:4860::8888
2001:4860:4860::8844

You can use these above DNS servers by replacing your current using ISP's DNS servers or along with it (as alternate DNS server).
